Alexa here. This year my holiday wish list is filled with boring necessities: socks, bedding, towels, and the always welcome cash money. But on the sly I've been bookmarking some film-themed gifts that I would love to receive as an extra surprise, should Santa be willing.  I hope this list will help you shop for the film lover in your life, or give you some ideas to add to your own holiday wish list.

1. Wild at Heart mug set.  Honestly I can think of nothing better than drinking my morning coffee from Sailor or Lula.  The shop, BagApart, also offers mug sets inspired by Paris, Texas, Blade Runner, The Graduate and more.

2. 90s bad boy tribute gear. While we're on Nic Cage, why not pair these Cage leggings with another bad boy icon of the 90s, Johnny Depp?  You can never have too much crazy in one outfit. Cage print gear available here, and 90s Johnny tee (and loads of others) available at this etsy shop.

3. Jaws garland. Really I want everything Castle McQuade has to offer, but this Jaws garland is one of my favorites, especially because it features Quint in a Santa hat.

4. Only Lovers Left Alive print set. I love these drawings by Alex Kittle that celebrate one of my favorite films of the year.

5. Star Wars Holiday Special prints. These prints by THEYdesign celebrate a yearly viewing, held by the Minnesota Film Board, of the Star Wars Holiday Special, possibly the worst televised Christmas special ever broadcast.

6. Miniature Mendl's Courtesan au Chocolat and Box. Because if you don't have time to make the real thing, why not have a tiny one?

7. Melthing Toht Candle. These are literally so hot they are sold out until next year. Still want one, though; New Year's gift maybe?

Got any film-themed gifts that are must-haves for you this year?
