Jose here.

Dear J.Law,

How do I love thee? Let me count the ways
By picking 25 times your red carpet looks
have taken my breath away...

All the birthday girl looks after the jump...

(All looks from left to right)

25. In Oscar de la Renta at an Elle event. 2014.
Delicate lace is always a winner when contrasted with bold hues like black. Call these entries part of her "Monochromatic era" which she seems to come slip in and out of constantly.

24. In Louis Vuitton at ComicCon. 2015.
Boho chic to talk Katniss with rabid comic book fans. Her beach hair and tan make one want to surf the day away with her (we know that's what she's been up to with Amy Schumer...)

23. In Dior. 2014.
My relationship with Raf Simons has been a tumultous one, he just doesn't know it yet. As much as I respect his "out there" designs and need to create art rather than clothes, he doesn't always seem to have the best interests of his ambassadors, and more than once has made poor J.Law look like a homeless mermaid. She excels with his work when it's not too fussy, which is why she always looked sensational in his more "resort" collections.

22. In Dior at The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part I premiere. 2014.
If you're thinking Audrey Hepburn in Sabrina, not only are you right. You're also probably my soulmate.

21. In Dior. 2012.
Femme fatale look at a Silver Linings Playbook red carpet.

20. In Dior at the BAFTA Awards. 2013.
Even though her date that night wasn't at his most gentlemanly behavior, J.Law looked like a true lady in a simple Dior gown with casacading appliqués.

19. In Dior. 2012.
Attending her very first Dior show, the yet-to-be-superstar-Dior-spokeswoman looked like one of those European princesses out shopping in Paris.

18. In Alexander McQueen. 2013.
We don't always see J.Law having "fun" with her looks, which is why it's a delight to see her try something like McQueen which winks at her irreverent sense of humor.

17. In Dior Couture at the SAG Awards. 2014.
Rightfully bringing disco goodness to the red carpet on the year she was nominated for American Hustle, J.Law's column dress lets you know she rocked the afterparty.

16. In Prabal Gurung at the Critics Choice Awards. 2013.
Femme fatale-Law strikes again!

15. In Tom Ford at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party. 2014.
One thing we can guess/assume/dream of/imagine is that J.Law is always the life of the party and her Vanity Fair party dresses are always a success!

14. In Dior. 2014.
Her handkerchief skirt made me want to weep with how beautiful it is. Sigh.

13. In Viktor and Rolf at the People's Choice Awards. 2012.
Playful J.Law seems to prefer blue, and while the eccentric cut might not appeal everyone, it was the couture-ist the People's Choices have ever been probably.

12. In Galvan at a Met Gala after party. 2015.
Silver Surfer meets high fashion.

11. In Louis Vuitton at the Golden Globes. 2011.
In her pre-Dior days, J.Law seemed to favor the house of LV and her flamenco-meets-S&M dress is a winner.

10. In L'Wrenn Scott at the Critics Choice Awards. 2011.
When cocktail dresses work at awards shows.

9. In Dior at The Hunger Games: Catching Fire premiere. 2013.
Nude couture can often be a faux pas, but J.Law made it work in what must be her "riskiest" fashion choice yet.

8. In Christian Dior Couture at the Academy Awards. 2014.
She paid homage to herself (see entry number 3) and made fashionistas sigh in relief after her ghastly Golden Globes dress...

7. In Oscar de la Renta at the SAG Awards. 2011.
J.Law doesn't always favor bold colors, but this draped fuchsia creation by the great de la Renta made her look radiant.

6. In Prada at the Producers Guild Awards. 2015.
Effortlessly sexy while resembling a Greek goddess. Made one wish she would do less Dior.

5. In Calvin Klein at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party. 2013.
CK has provided her with some of her most laidback, sexiest looks ever (see entry number 3...)

4. In Tex Saverio, in The Hunger Games: Catching Fire. 2013.
It might be a fictional red carpet, but it's a red carpet nonetheless. As Katniss Everdeen, she had fashion lovers the world over wondering if Katniss was wearing Alexander McQueen. It was Tex Saverio, but the results weren't any less breathtaking.

3. In Calvin Klein at the Academy Awards. 2011.
The All-American girl went the Baywatch way for her very first Oscars. Wearing the same color as the famous carpet isn't always easy to pull off, yet J.Law not only succeeded, she announced the arrival of a bright new star.

2. In Christian Dior Couture at the Academy Awards. 2013.
Just look at it! It also proves my theory that an Oscar makes for the best fashion accessory.

1. In Prabal Gurung at The Hunger Games premiere. 2012
Perhaps predicting the golden accessory she'd collect less than a year after, J.Law was the ultimate golden girl in a stunning Prabal Gurung liquid gold design that accentuated her natural beauty and proved to be her finest fashion moment to date.

I love thee in Dior, Louis and Prabal,
My couture-loving soul shines, sighs and smiles
I love thee with the breath,
Smiles, tears, of all my life;
and, if Vogue choose,
I shall but love thee better after Raf.

How are you celebrating J.Law's 25th birthday? What are some of your favorite of her looks?
