TweetWeek: From Idris Elba Doubled to Grease Live!
It's been a busy week plus with SAG Awards, political caucus craziness, Grease Live! and continuing Oscar conversations so here's a brief collection of some favorite tweets from the past week plus, kicking off the very important news that Mad Max Fury Road's Oscar-nominated maestro George Miller has been named the jury president of the venerable Cannes Film Festival this May. That's one more feather in his cap in a very big season for the director.

I still didn't hear any candidate congratulate the cast of Grease Live.

The scene in Saint Laurent when @nathanielr seduces Gaspard Ulliel is unexpected and luscious. #BestCameo #FilmBitch pic.twitter.com/edXkbUzDb1

Trump headlines make me crave more rational news like Joseph Fiennes playing Michael Jackson in a 9/11 drama.

OSCAR MANIA
My favorite Kristen Wiig character will always be Sally Kirkland at the 1987 Academy Awards. pic.twitter.com/0zSQJ5DtI5

I almost hope THE BIG SHORT wins an editing award this season because I'd love to see a chainsaw walk onstage & give an acceptance speech.

If your social conscience awakened only after seeing the 2016 Oscar nominations for acting, put the mic down.

That DiCapripope photo really gives me the creeps.
oh my god @ the Sally Kirkland one. I was just looking at old videos on Youtube of Oscar losers who look angry and/or disappointed (don't ask) and specifically sought out the Sally Kirkland reaction and thought the same thing regarding Kristen Wiig!
Leo is going the extra mile to clean up his act - seeing him with the Pope makes me laugh.
But after he wins that Oscar I bet he celebrates with a large number of under 25 females - on some tropical island retreat.
Way to go for his PR team getting rid of the girlfriend, now this.
LadyEdith,
Leo will celebrate the winning of the phallic statue only with male friends - nothing wrong with that.
The girls are only for rapid use - nothing wrong with that too.
DiCaprio the atheist meeting a religious figure for a photo op is gross.
Wait-does this mean that this year's glamorous actress at Cannes we all obsess over is going to be Susan Sarandon, because if so-sign me up!
That Revenant tweet is so perfect. I was quoting it to family this weekend and they immediately got it even though they haven't seen the movie.
YAS for the return of The Fall! Speaking of Jamie Dornan, I just watched (most of) 50 Shades this weekend and god it was awful.
