Happy Still Thinking About the Emmys Day, everyone! Kim from Head Over Feels here to break down the Handsome Men of the Emmys. Covering Men’s Fashion can be hard sometimes because it’s basically like “Here’s a bunch of really handsome men in tuxedos! Enjoy!” Which, don’t get me wrong, I enjoy a handsome man even in the most basic of suits.

Lately though the fellas have, as a whole, started to make more daring choices as of late, embracing color and prints and statement accessories. (And excellent tailoring. All the slim fit suits, please and thank you.) Let’s take a look at the Gents who brought their A-Game to the Emmys, shall we?

The ten best dressed are after the jump...

10) Adam Scott

In the words of Leslie Knope, look at this Sexy Elf King. I am a sucker for a Navy Tux; the tailoring on this one is impeccable and the contrasting pale pink polka-dotted pocket square completes the look perfectly. Plus, did you guys catch how his hands were shaking while he was presenting? Stars, they get nervous about public speaking just like us!

9) Alexander Skarsgard
I knew the women of Big Little Lies were going to dominate last night, but I was expecting Molina to take the Supporting Actor award. Needless to say, I was delighted when Skarsgard won because he was fantastic. And just...look at him! What a tall drink of water. He’s so beautiful (even with the ‘stache, which I think he pulls off). The fit of this three-piece tux is amazing...it’s just tight enough to show off how FIT (and large) he is without making it look like he’s going to bust out of it at any moment. (I keep staring at how it nips in at his waist so perfectly.) And you gotta love the little bit of flair he added with that diamond brooch.

8) RuPaul
Because ONLY Ru could get away with wearing a Harlequin Print to the Emmys.

7) Justin Hartley
The men of This Is Us came to PLAY, as you will see from the rest of my picks. (Except none for you, Toby. NONE FOR YOU.) I love this navy on him, especially with the contrasting black lapels. It’s not a flashy look but Justin proves that classic never has to be boring.

6) Milo Ventimiglia
Speaking of classic, look how dapper Milo is. I love the massive watch as his statement accessory. His stubble is perfect too, even if I wish he had just rocked that 80s Jack Pearson facial hair. Side note: where is my Gilmore Girls reunion picture with Alexis Bledel? #TeamJessForever

5) Tituss Burgess
Tituss always makes a statement on the red carpet; he’s never been one to shy away from bright colors or prints. He has the personality and presence to pull off outlandish choices. I LOVE this golden raw silk jacket. The color choice has to be a shout out to Titus Andromedon’s Lemonade moment, yes?

4) The Cast of Stranger Things
The best thing about the Stranger Things cast is that they all clearly have individual styles (Purple brocade jacket! That three piece suit! Blue velvet with yellow trim! Classic black offset by dove gray!) but yet they manage to look like a cohesive unit every single time they show up on the red carpet. These kids don’t mess around, y’all. They show up and make my best dressed list. Every. Single. Time.

3) Sterling K. Brown
When Nathaniel approached me about covering the men for the Emmys, my automatic response was “Can I just say Sterling K. Brown ten times?” I could wax poetic on Sterling’s performance as Randall Pearson and how he’s giving the television performance of the year, but anyone who watches This Is Us knows that already. Sterling went classic black and white this year, and while I took away some points for how his bowtie was a little crooked on the red carpet, he still looked amazing because he just has an inner glow where you can’t NOT look at him. Plus his speech was one of the best of the night. (The Dick Whitman shout out! He’s such a TV nerd!)

2) Riz Ahmed
When Riz was accepting his Emmy last night, my initial response was “Look at that chocolate brown tux!!” And then when I was looking at photos this morning, I was like “Wait...is it black? Was I wrong?” and it sent me into a panic. Is it brown? Is it black? Is it brown with black trim? Who cares when he looks THIS GOOD?

(For the record, it appears to be option three: very dark brown with black trim.)

1) Donald Glover
Purple. Gucci. Suit.

That’s all we need to say really.

Who were your favorite men at the Emmys? It was a night that mostly honored women (Big Little Lies! Veep! The Handmaid's Tale! Black Mirror: San Junipero!) so this time that's underdiscussed.
