NATHANIEL R in Allison Janney, Amandla Stenberg, Angela Bassett, Charlize Theron, Christine Lahti, Cicely Tyson, Elsie Fisher, Emilia Clarke, Michelle Yeoh, Nadin Labaki, Oscars (18), Red Carpet Lineup

How about one final red carpet posting. Herewith 20 more gowns from the Oscars (well, looks... a few women wore pants) to gawk at... from the non-nominees this time and with a few comments thrown in. Who was your Favourite?

Emilia Clarke, Elsie Fisher, Charlize Theron, Amandla Stenberg, Constance Wu

Did Charlize ever think Aeon Flux while putting this together? Is Elsie Fisher a Royal Tenenbaums fan?

Awkwafina, Laura Harrier, Michelle Yeoh, Tina Fey, Kacey Musgrave

I'm still frustrated Michelle Yeoh couldn't get any Oscar traction for Crazy Rich Asians. People have been nominated for soooo much less, and for inferior reasons than "wow, what a long career and look, she's in a smash hit!"

Jennifer Hudson, Brie Larson, Dame Helen Mirren, Cicely Tyson, and Alison Janney

OKAY #1. I dont know if this will be controversial but imho Allison Janney has NEVER looked sexier.

OKAY #2. At TFE HQ we were absolutely enraged that Cicely Tyson didn't even get to stand up and take applause for her Honorary Oscar win. It was bad enough when they demoted the legends off the broadcast but in years past since doing that they've at least let them stand up and soak in applause or something. They got one passing mention with a super quick camera pan -- we barely even were able to look at them.

BAD FORM, OSCAR PRODUCERS, BAD FORM.

Queen Angela Bassett, Christine Lahti, Nadine Labaki, Danai Gurira, and Leslie Bibb

Yes we said non-nominee gowns but including Nadine Labaki due to Oscar's stupid loophole that the directors of Foreign Language Films aren't actually the Oscar nominees. This rule bugs so much because everyone knows that the country of Lebanon did not make Capernaum, Nadine Labaki made Capernaum. Uff.

Anyway, who was your best dressed among these non-nominees? Or perhaps it was someone we neglected to include (oops)?
