Yes, it's Call Me By Your Name (2017), currently streaming on Netflix, the film that made Timothée Chalamet a big star and should have won him a Best Actor Oscar, too. You know it's true. At least it won the eternally great James Ivory an Oscar after a very very long wait. Next up for Timothée is Dune Part Two -- the trailer already discussed right here

The last shot, a long unbroken Oscar-worthy take, is justly iconic. But what an odd choice for a first shot, right? One of Elio's female admirers laying on his bed. (We then pan over to Elio, shirtless and he says in Italian "The Usurper" as he looks out the window. Little does he know this 'usurper' is about to change his life.)

Why do you think Director Luca Guadagnino chose to start the film with that shot after the memorable still photo credits?
