NATHANIEL R in Ana de Armas, Beyoncé, Caroline Aaron, Colorology, Golden Globes, Greta Gerwig, Gwyneth Paltrow, Jo Yeo Jeong, Kerry Washington, Red Carpet Lineup, Thomasin McKenzie, Zooey Deutch

Though we gawked at beautiful men, giggled at Viking hats, and pursed our Devil-in-Prada lips at flowery dresses the big fashion blowout post is only happening now. Procrastination is sometimes healthy because we need escapism constantly of late given the increasing despair in the world. Oscar nomination balloting is now complete but until the world is no more award seasons will continue to roar.  Which lewks were your favourites? We'll divvy it up into categories starting with blue and red families...

Bel Powley, Thomasin McKenzie, Shailene Woodley

Globe Comedy nominees Ana de Armas and Beanie Feldstein in midnight blues.

Tiffany Haddish, plus Parasite wonders Lee Jung Eun and Cho Yeo-Jeong

Sacha Baron Cohen & Isla Fisher +  Da'Vine Joy Randolph

Zhao Shuzhen & Olivia Colman in matron-glamorous reds.

Accented queens Salma, Nicole, and Renée

and now some lovely couples...  beginning with two buzzy filmmaker partnerships (offscreen in both cases though Greta & Noah have previously also worked together onscreen)

Barry Jenkins + Lulu Wang and Greta Gerwig + Noah Baumbach

Fred Armisen & Natasha Lyonne

and four more very famous & gorgeous couplings.

Awww, look, two pint-sized cuties who both gave excellent performances this year

Roman Griffin Davis (Jojo Rabbit) and Julia Butters (Once Upon a Time ...in Hollywood)

Marvelous Mrs Caroline Aaron and the always chic and fashion-forward Cate Blanchett

Fleabag, Villanelle, and Zooey Deutch

Charlize & Beyoncé... they only need first names.

Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Michelle Williams, and Sienna Miller

Gwyneth Paltrow in a bizarre brown sheer nightgown over lingerie.

An on to beauties in black. Sometimes black feels like a fashion crutch, other times it's ravishing. We got a little of both on Globes night.

Zoe, Margaret Qualley, Erivo, and Jennifer Aniston

La Pfeiffer, Rooney Mara and Globe winner Awkwafina. Isn't it strange that she's known as a comedienne but won for a Dramatic performance... that was in the comedy category.

Sarah Snook was a vision, and that dress in motion was dazzling.

Kerry Washington &  Naomi Watts to go. Both ravishing.

Who would you name as best dressed from Globes night? My vote went to Sarah Snook's black mesmerizing voluminous gown (though still photos dont quit capture how breathtaking it was). With Zooey and Zoe as runners-up.
