AND THE WINNER IS...
KE HUY QUAN, EVERYTHING EVERYWHERE ALL AT ONCE
Brendan Gleeson wins: NBR and a few critics awards |
Brian Tyree Henry win: a few critics awards |
Judd Hirsch win: AARP |
Barry Keoghan win: BAFTA and a few critics awards |
Ke Huy Quan win: GLOBE, CRITICS CHOICE, NYFCC, LAFCA, NSFC, and dozens of critics awards |
Who SHOULD win (Vote Daily!)
How'd I do on my predictions? |
||||
4/5 While I correctly saw Judd Hirsch coming, I thought Paul Dano would make it in too for the same film. The nominee I left out was Brian Tyree Henry (who I had had as the fifth-spotter for literally months. Whoops
Who was left out? |
||||
Paul Dano was obviousy the big snub after a lot of precursor love. But it was a tight race and we suspect Brad Pitt (Babylon), Eddie Redmayne (The Good Nurse), and Mark Rylance (Bones and All) also won their fair share of votes given precursor buzz and success. Anyone else was probably well behind though.
Who WILL win? |
||||
Ke Huy Quan has proved such a sweeper that it's not even a contest anymore.
