Joseph Gordon-Levitt is hot and talented !
My favorite performance of his is 500 days of summer (of coz!) because he is Tom .
I think he should work with  Gus Van Sant  because he can be River Phoenix !

# Joseph Gordon-Levitt is just so cute!
# My favorite performance of his is (500) Days of Summer because it was his debut as a grown up fully credible and charming romantic lead. Also the movie's point - that love is random - haven't been well told before..
# I think he should work with Charlie Kaufman because together they could bring in a charming quirky romantic comedy a la Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind!

# Joseph Gordon-Levitt is the personification of versatility!
# My favorite performance of his is 50/50 because it was a really well-balanced acting work who mixed both comedy and drama and it was a really underrated performance. There are few actors who can actually make me cry while watching a movie and he did it in such a flawless way!
# I think he should work with Sofia Coppola because it would be interesting seeing the Queen of Mood using Joseph's silent expressivity!

Joseph Gordon Levitt is never unwatchable!
My favorite performance of his is also (500) Days of Summer, with Brick or 50/50 in a very close second place, because he is so effortlessly charming, funny, and hey: he can sing! he can dance! He can carry one of the most memorable musical sequences from a movie ever, after having sex with Zooey Deschanel!
I think he should work with Woody Allen, because I think it would be quite an interesting mix between the two of them: pulling his effortless charm of (500) Days into a Woody Allen romantic comedy could be awesome!

Joseph Gordon-Levitt is adorkable !
My favorite performance of his is (500) Days of Summer because he brought a Gen Y disillusionment to that performance that I can identify with.
I think he should work with me because then we could date !

Joseph Gordon-Levitt is hot and smart and clever and....were we supposed to just pick one?

My favorite performance of his is MYSTERIOUS SKIN because it's out of left field for him and he's brilliant in it. More people need to see this, now.

I think he should work with Ryan Gosling because I want them to do a romantic comedy/drama that has a lot of sex. :D

Joseph Gordon-Levitt is one of my favorite actors. My favorite performance of his is Mysterious Skin because he was amazing in it and I realized how great of an actor he was. I think he should work with Paul Dano because he is another one of my favorite young actors.

Joseph Gordon Levitt is LITHE.

My favourite performance of his is undoubtedly Mysterious Skin, because that movie and performance really crept under my skin. It's also perfectly attuned to the performances of those around him, which you feel in his reconciliation scene with Brady Corbett at the end. One of the most impressive portraits of a "troubled" adult of the past ten years...for the pride in his voice when he says, "I was his favourite."

I think he should work with Jane Campion, who would embrace his openness and emotional vulnerability. He's gangbusters in Inception, but I'd like to see his more fragile side in a film that's ONLY about that, rather than the sneak peeks we get in (500) Days of Summer.

Joseph Gordon-Levitt is so talented yet also so very grounded.

My favorite performance of his is actually a tie between his roles in Mysterious Skins and (500) Days of Summer because of them show off his great versatility and immense talents.

I think he should work with John Cameron Mitchell because I don't know really. I think they both could make something magical together.

Mysterious Skin is AMAZING

would love to see him in a comedy with Emma Stone :)

that will be all :)

Joseph Gordon-Levitt is my all-time favorite actor. My favorite performance of his is in 50/50 because he was able to handle the range of emotions so well and he made me feel connected to his character. I think he should work with Zooey Deschanel again because their chemistry is undeniable. I also think he should work with me in the future! Let's make it happen Joe! Happy birthday buddy!!

JGL is cuter than a box full of puppies.
My favorite performance of his is '500 days of Summer' (even though I kind of hate the movie).
I think he should work with PT Anderson because he'll give a powerhouse performance. Also, any time he wants to re-team with Tom Hardy is ok with me.

February 17, 2012 | Unregistered CommenterRebecca

Joseph Gordon Levitt is one of my favorite actors!

My favorite performance of his is in Mysterious Skin because...I mean, he was a revelation in my opinion. First thing I really saw him in and I was blown away, and I love the movie too. He made me believe that he was this character without much of a future, and the *SPOILER* rape scene *SPOILER* was completely disturbing. It was brilliant how we was never affected by what happened to him as a child, he never cared, he almost embraced it, but when he saw how the same exact thing really horribly affected the other kid, it seemed to break his heart, which we hadn't seen from that character before.

He should work with Sofia Coppola because much like Scarlett Johannson in Lost in Translation, he's very good without words.

Joseph Gordon-Levitt is my neighbor (eat your hearts out).
My favorite performance of his is in The Lookout because it sticks with me in ways the others haven't.
I think he should work with alternative theater and music groups in Los Angeles because I like running into him.

Joseph Gordon Levitt is the cat's pyjamas! No, not Monty's though! ;)

My favorite performance of his is 500 Days of Summer. Previously, I had always thought of him as the kid from 3rd Rock from the Sun, but to see him here as an adult, singing and dancing, and acting so wonderfully, it was a true revelation.

I think he should work with Ang Lee because Lee is such an accomplished auteur, so comfortable in so many different genres that an actor with as wide a range as Gordon Levitt would truly complement him and add immense value to the project.

Joseph Gordon-Levitt is the best actor of his generation !
My favorite performance of his is in "Mysterious Skin" because he made me cry .
I think he should work with Woody Allen because anyone who's seen 500 Days of Summer will agree !

A bit offtopic but I don't know where to put this... Oscars 2012 in a nutshell (not as funny as last year's video but still): http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=oFswU8GiQpQ

Joseph Gordon-Levitt is... a very gifted actor. One of the few true chameleons of his generation.

My favorite performance of his is... Mysterious Skin. I like him best in stuff like (500) Days of Summer but there's something offputting and unappealing about his character in Mysterious Skin that amazes me because, come on, Gordon-Levitt is one of the nicest guys ever. Also: that performance is amazing.

I think he should work with... David O'Russell, but only if he makes another quirky comedy like 'I Heart Huckabees'. If not, call Wes Anderson. Wouldn't he be great in something like 'The Royal Tenenbaums' or 'Darjeeling Limited'?

Can't wait for LOOPER.

Joseph Gordon-Levitt is the bee's knees.
My favorite performance performance of his is Mysterious Skin because he broke my heart.
I think he should work with Carey Mulligan and Martin Scorsese in a musical because it would be delightful, delicious and delovely.

Joseph Gordon-Levitt is underused.
My favorite performance of his is Brick because I love film noir, and he does it so well (though he does brain-damaged pretty well too...Lookout would have been my second choice.)
I think he should work with Spielberg or Cameron because he would get seen by bigger audiences and, possibly, get the kind of exposure that would get him all the quality work he could stand.

February 18, 2012 | Unregistered CommenterCarl

Is: the best actor younger than Michael Fassbender.

Best performance: Mysterious Skin, because he was downright mind blowing in that film and it wasn't exactly an easy performance.

Should work with: Wes Anderson, simply because I'd want to see what would happen in a Wes Anderson film. Wouldn't that be fun?
