"Word from Sundance is that "Call Me By Your Name" is ravishing. I doubt it will be an Oscar contender, but we'll see." -Raul

"Bigelow is No 1 for me. Her last two films are brilliant works. And the Gloria Grahame bio with The Bening is way up there." - Brookesboy

I am full-on Team Hathaway, 100%, but the opening paragraph of that GQ article made me literally laugh out loud.

I am over actors being over the Oscars. Cooper and Phoenix should give their nominations to Hawkes and Trintignant (sp?).

I agree with eurocheese (Hawkes and Trintignant should've been nominated, but I would still keep PHoenix). Yes, the death of someone very close is a powerful experience , but how can you compare that with getting an Oscar nomination? It's like comparing apples and oranges. It's your FIRST nomination, celebrate it instead of being so negative about it, even you know you have zero chance of winning!

Also, does the article really have to make fun of Hathaway the whole time?

Ruffalo and Johansson are my indispensables. Well Downey too obviously.
