"My favorite movie about the theater is ALL ABOUT EVE, but then again that movie is my favorite movie about everything about movies and love and lust and life itself." - Jay

"TOPSY-TURVY perfectly captures the feeling of imminent failure that you get when you're in rehearsals." - Peggy

Citizen Peeta

JA from MNPP here, with that there the first teaser for Mockingjay, the third Hunger Games film and the first half of the two-part finale. (What convolutions our sentences must take in this new world of franchise logic.) If you ask me Donald Sutherland would already have a couple of golden boys (I mean even some nominations, at least!) on his mantle, I love him that much, so highlighting his sparkling sneering performance as President Snow in this video seems wise to me, and makes my extremities tingle. And I love Josh Hutcherson playing the role of "Kept Boy" up in there -- because my wiring is strange I immediately thought of Burt Reynolds in Citizen Ruth, of all things, with that young boy he always had beside him. Now that would take the Hunger Games to a whole new level of complications, eh? Katniss storms the Capitol and finds Peeta massaging oil into Snow's shoulder-blades? Be brave, Francis Lawrence!

is it wrong tht i like this franchise so much more than Twilight and yet I'm already eager for it to end? and there's two movies left? I miss trilogies. Quadrilogies just aren't as cool.

Thanks for sharing that teaser, I hadn't seen it yet! I'm still annoyed they split Mockingjay into two films, but this trailer has me intrigued. That's for sure.

Any word on a replacement for PSH? (Who was often brilliant but awful in these, I thought.)

I believe he shot enough for them to cover, and the little that he didn't they are CGing him into. I believe that's right? It was the last thing I heard ages ago anyway. Welcome to the future!

Indeed, they didn't have to replace PSH. If I'm not mistaken he had only a couple shooting days left, so they're using as much as they can from what they have.

Oh man, I didn't need to see that again. A topless Burt Reynolds from that movie. Ugh..

LOL that's EXACTLY the reaction I was hoping for, Steven. I loooooooove Citizen Ruth so much.
