Yes, the annual wrap-ups have begun. Forgive TFE that we wait until late December/early January to start but we like to include December as part of each year...

• Time Top ten TV shows: The Deuce, Big Little Lies, Mindhunter, etc
• Time top ten TV episodes: Girls, RuPauls Drag Race, Jimmy Kimmel Live, etc
• New York Times Top ten books
• Instagram year in review including top posts (Beyoncé) most followed celebrities (Selena Gomez) and most followed pets (Jiffpom) and most instagrammed cities (NYC)
• Empire Top ten films: Get Out, Blade Runner 2049, and more. It's worth noting that because UK schedules are different this list covers movies which are 2016-2018 for us (La La Land on the earliest and The Death of Stalin on the latest release for us, now due in 2018 in the US theaters)

I have actually read The Power. It's pretty great - hope it gets a movie adaptation. But only if a woman directs it, since it's a novel that really needs that in the movie adaptation.
