And it's freaking hot here in Peru! Don't you wanna come? 😁
You're frozen
when your heart's not open
...and this is why film experience is the best
Rain expected for the next 5 days here in Los Angeles. Must be a big scene that the Studios are filming! Perhaps "Singin' in the Rain 2"!
It's apparently -11°C in New York whereas here in Toronto it's -17°C but with the windchill feels more like it's -30°C!
Consider yourself lucky, Nathaniel.
Lucy is summing up my current mood quite nicely.
Wait, it's very cold here too. Warming things up with two oldies:
Possessed (1947) Joan Crawford second Oscar nomination since her winning 2 years before, this time playing a woman with mental problems. Very good and you don't need to be a fan. And the 40s are, to me, the decade of beauty for Crawford, like for Kate Hepburn and Stanwick.
New Moon (1940) One of those musical-extravaganza that MGM produced to the pair Jeanette MacDonald- Nelson Eddy. All them great.
Be Nice.😉
Honestly, I think the ending of Titanic could've been improved as there was enough room for both Jack and Rose. All they had to do was have one of them be on top of each other. Maybe they might end up being a little horny and have sex where they eventually get stuck with one another due to the cold. Yet, they'd both be alive and found and we get a happier ending.
Great choices! Also, the gorgeous ice house in Doctor Zhivago. Oscar winner for art direction, 1965.
And I'm freezed with our 13 in Italy
