First & Last 013

We're bringing back our greatest hits like an aging band on tour. Can you guess the movie from its first and last shot?

the answer is after the jump...

Those with eagle eyes surely recognized the famous exterior of "Rydell High" in the first image, the setting of both Grease and Grease 2. The last image is a leaping freeze frame which cues the closing credits, where groups of cast members get freeze framed with their names. Yes, it's Grease 2 (1982) a movie which was disliked at the time (how does one live up to Grease after all?) but has, especially in the last couple of decades, gained its own sizeable cult following. Without this early leading lady breakthrough would La Pfeiffer as we know her have happened?

Gimme a C-O-O-L... R-I-D-E-R

What's your fav song from Grease 2 OTHER THAN "COOL RIDER"? Or maybe you can't name one, "Cool Rider" being the obvious standout. Have you watched Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies on Paramount+? Chris reviewed that for us as it arrived and he's kinder about it than many others have been online.

Sco-o-ore tonight!

Also, if you’re interested in Pink Ladies and haven’t seen it yet…well, at least there’s always Grease 2.

Still didn't like this film. It doesn't live up to the original and I'm saddened but not surprised by the cancellation of Pink Ladies. Paramount+ sucks.
