Blargh!

Words just not coming out today. I have like 8 articles in progress, no joke.  I think Moulin Rouge!'s 7,620 seconds of orgasmic fabulousity short-circuited my brain. So, your turn... WHAT'S ON YOUR (CINEMATIC) MIND? Do tell.

(More later if the words ever generate in the brain, travel down to the fingers, tap out to the keyboard, appear on the screen. I think I remember that that's how it usually works.)

ITCHING for Tree of Life. Trying to forget EVERYTHING about it. It's just so much more...magical...when you know nothing.

I have a taste for a good romantic comedy, but there aren't any OnDemand or on the movie channels or streaming on Netflix. And then I wondered if the problem is me? Maybe my standards for rom-com are too high? Should I lower my expectations?

Methinkss I need to see Bridesmaids again to scratch this itch.

I shouldn't complain living so close to NYC but all it means is that there are TOO many choices. This weekend alone... X-Men, Beginners, Beautiful Boy, and Submarine. And I still haven't seen Tree of Life. Wished I had the time or the money...

On my cinematic mind? The brilliance of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo teaser trailer. That song choice? I died.

Also, thanks to the Moulin Rogue retrospective, I've been obsessing about the opulence in the Hindi Sad Diamonds number. Those jewels! The lighting! UGGGH.

updating the Oscar predix on my blog. At this point, most of the categories are confusing. Especially screenplay. hhmm..

Mark --i've typed Moulin Rogue plenty of times. haha. what a different film that would be!

Nic -- agreed that screenplay is very mysterious at this point.
