I know this is not film related but I'm up writing a history essay and I feel exactly like Jon Hamm in front of my laptop (is it Jon Hamm?). Also, that clip you posed, Nathaniel, from Albert Nobbs....makes me feel exactly like this. Hope I don't have the same reaction to Glenn Close's performance.
BVR -- i know that's why i was worried. Anyway, this is Ewan McGregor. Good luck on your essay!
Heard that! I'm up two hours early to call not the post office, but the mail carrier, b/c I haven't been getting mail all this week. The post office has no clue whats up, so I have to take it to the streets so to say.
Also, saw Our Idiot Brother yesterday. Really enjoyed it! Going to see Contagion today hopefully. And I just had a dream I was going to be in Red State. That was exciting! Oh well, maybe I'll be in Hit Somebody.
Nat - I thought that was Ewan! (Something about the broadness of the nose nailed it for me. It doesn't hurt that I was just watching him in I Love You Philip Morris). What film is this? (the one where he plays the guy who brings down the Bank of England, or somesuch?)
I attended a showing of Hedwig and the Angry Inch on Wednesday night - only the second time I've seen it (the movie, not the stage version) in New London CT. There was a Q & A with composer Steven Trask that I couldn't stick around for. I had no idea he was a New London native. I did go up to him before I left and shook his hand and told him I much I loved his songs in the film, blah blah, and then felt like a complete idiot afterward. (He probably gets that all the time, what would one more babbling fan mean to him?)
Janice -- oh i bet he enjoys it. I met him once years ago and was a complete idiot, not acknowledging him at all when raving to JCM about the movie. SO DUMB OF ME. i felt terrible afterwards but it was one of those moments where i just wasn't being coherent.
Am I the only person who thinks that picture looks like Aaron Sorkin?
Yummy even yawning.
