Pride of the Yankees, maybe? I wonder.

I haven't seen the film in decades, but I'm feeling more and more sure it's Pride of the Yankees now.

I'm also thinking Pride of the Yankees.

Pride of the Yankees for sure

So I'm guessing we're not acknowledging Bill Macy & Erin in Flagstaff's requests for fairness in yesterday's posts. That's cool, I suppose I can be on my computer at 5 am every morning.

Sorry Donnie Smith.

East Coast > West Coast

Learn this. Live this. Love this.

Is there a prize involved or is this just for fun? I don't get what difference it makes when the post goes up. I'm on the east coast but I don't check this site first thing in the morning (sorry, Nat). You don't have to read the comments before guessing.

In other news, Pride of the Yankees is one of the worst oscar-bait movies I've ever seen. It feels interminable and so incredibly fake.

OMG that ending is one of the most somber ever for an old Oscar-bait biopic. It's a five star classic for sure.

@GASTON: Hilarious!

Teresa Wright was used to much better effect that year in Mrs. Miniver. Greer Garson was a much better acting partner for her than Cooper.
