What a great idea for a post. I completely agree with the above mentions of Ewan McGregor, Rosamund Pike, Rosemarie DeWitt, and James McAvoy. I have never understood how McAvoy didn't become a big star after Atonement.
To add some TV people to the list, I would love to see Jason Dohring from Veronica Mars and Katee Sackhoff from Battlestar Galactica cast in some juicy movie parts by some terrific directors. They are both such brilliant actors with tremendous range, and it makes me sad that they aren't being cast in great projects.
