r - could you clarify/translate what your paragraph means?

I'm surprised that Olivia de Havilland and Kirk Douglas are only only about five months apart in age. While both are from the classic period they seem to be from different eras within that. Olivia's main stardom was the 30's and 40's while Kirk ascended in the 50's and stayed in the star spot well into the early 80's.

Two more who should really be included, both of whom were in the film Gunfight at the O.K. Corral in 1957:

Earl Holliman (born September 11, 1928; Forbidden Planet, Bridges at Toki-Ri, Last Train From Gun Hill, The Sons of Katie Elder, The Rainmaker, the very first Twilight Zone, Police Woman, Nightman)

and in addition to the other reasons he deserves to be listed, the other actor I would include is likely the last one born to meet eligibility:

Martin Milner (born December 28, 1931; Adam-12, Sands of Iwo Jima, Mister Roberts, Sweet Smell of Success, Robocop The Series, Irwin Allen's Production of Flood! and Irwin's series The Swiss Family Robinson)

Formerly too young for the list (original birthday was listed as 6/17/1933), but family members state it was really 6/17/1929 : the wonderful, esteemed actor James Shigeta passed yesterday at age 85.

July 30, 2014 | Unregistered CommenterGlenn

Per http://www.briansdriveintheater.com/johngavin.html, Psycho hunk John Gavin's birthday is really 4/08/1928, not 4/08/1931, so in the next version he can be added to the list!

July 30, 2014 | Unregistered CommenterBrian

Pretty perky Peggy King, born Feb. 16, 1930.
