I can't figure out where #3 and #4 are from. I don't even have a guess on those.

On the plus side, Pfeiffer really is a ridiculously beautiful woman.

forever -- i'll let other people take a guess at them first

3 is Uncle Boonmee... right?

June 21, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterTravis

#3 is Uncle Boonmee!

June 21, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterBeRightBack

Travis & BRB -- yes it is.

No problem at all. It's much more fun that way! #4 SHOULD be obvious, but I'm seriously blanking. And I have no idea who Uncle Boonmee is. To the IMDB!!!

June 21, 2013 | Unregistered Commenterforever1267

Those Uncle Boonmee forest ghost spirit things scared the SHIT outta me every time they appeared in that movie. It reminded me of a truly terrifying nightmare I might've had once. And even now, they never fail to creep me out when I see the stills. *shivers*

Blade Runner FTW. That movie is a cinematographer's dream.

I've found #4, but cheated using the Google images search, so I won't say it :-)

Oh, forever, don't indulge his Pfanaticism! I knew Wolf would be here before even clicking.

Someone's gonna beat me to all of these, but here goes...

1. "Man of Steel"

2 and 3 guessed (though I thought 3 was "The Fog")

4. Something with Orion slave girls

5. A paranormal version of "The Master".

6. "Dune" in its only artistically successful incarnation

7. "Scott Pilgrim vs. the World".

8. "The Witches of Eastwick".

9. "Village of the Damned".

Hmmm...is number four "Bell, Book, and Candle"? Doesn't look quite right - too modern, and I do not remember this scene in it, but it could be Kim Novak under all that makeup in a shot that tight.

June 22, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterCarl

#5 is Teen Wolf, obviously!

June 22, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterLucky

#4 is Queen of Blood

June 22, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterPaul Outlaw

Carl -- i almost used that film :) but Paul guessed it "queen of blood"
