COMMENT(s) DU JOUR
TWO OPINIONS ON MAPS TO THE STARS
Nathaniel's Julianne Spazzing & Glenn's Cronenberg Finger Wagging

"There is a great movie in Maps of the Stars and that is the one Moore stars in, not the one the screenplay insists in bringing to the front." - Mr Goodbar

"If I had to guess why Cronenberg went with a largely "invisible" or even non-style style, I'd say it has to do with his approach to the narrative, which is kind of a bait and switch, setting us up for a hollywood satire and then giving us a final act that plays more like a myth or a fairy tale." -Roark

I'm Sorry Siri, But...

...remember what you told me about Scarlett Johansson the other day? Well, she just showed you how it's done. You're obviously smart, efficient and can find me cheap Chinese food when I'm too lazy to type at 3AM, but even you should acknowledge how stunning this woman is. I am head over heels about her Max Mara coat, her Michael Kors dress and her Jimmy Choos, but it's the 40's leading lady hairdo that's making me want to drop everything and go see Her and Don Jon again right this very second. Heck, I'd even listen to the whole of Anywhere I Lay My Head just because...

Sigh. Please don't go all HAL 9000 on me after this.

Now, as you were...

Love,

Jose

She's giving me Natalie Dormer vibes. And now I want a movie with the two of them playing sisters.

That's exactly how I look on any given day.

If MATCH POINT was a period piece and Nola Rice was a 1940s party girl, this would be her ensemble.

Like Samantha, ScarJo has read my comments and was taken by how much I noted I could picture her in American Hustle and is doing her part to work that crazy hair.

In years to come the phrase 'you are giving me ScarJo realness' will be uttered frequently. She is just so darn perfect.
