"Sense8" Returns Only to End
The finale of Sense8, the cancelled Netflix series from the Wachowski sisters, will start streaming on June 8th. As you'll recall the one-of-a-kind series was cancelled after two seasons but after much fan pleading, a final movie was ordered to wrap things up. Not unlike what HBO did for Looking... only with possibly even less sex this time. The synopsis threatens that they no longer have personal lives... i.e. no cluster orgies for Wrap-up movie.
Personal lives are pushed aside as the cluster, their sidekicks, and some unexpected allies band together for a rescue mission and BPO take-down in order to protect the future of all Sensates
What is even the point then? I'm kidding (well, mostly). The synopsis makes this sound like it's an all action finale. And not that kind of "action". Sigh.
Are you looking forward?

The sex is one of the things that made this show so unique and important, because no one else does what sense8 did, being inclusive while letting all of its characters have a healthy sexuality with very little cliches.
While I hope sex still plays a part I’m more concerned with getting some closure for these characters that I fell so deeply in love with.
Miguel Ángel Silvestre makes me sweat in places unknown but I can't stand the Warshawskis.
Can't wait !
Sense8 made me whole-heartedly believe in the Wachoskis again, and I cannot WAIT for this finale. Even when it wasn't at its best, Sense8 was completely unlike anything else on "television" and I love what an open-hearted and humanistic show it is. June 8 can't come fast enough!
What Brian said. This show was so special, so unique, so striking. It had vision and craziness as well as sex. Nothing can replace it. June 8 will be bittersweet.
I need to rewatch this show now!
Off topic: Nathaniel, can we have a Crazy Rich Asians YNMS please? 🙏
I wish someone would bring back "Looking"
