1st: Off Topic Hugely. 2nd: If these are personal picks, you must be somewhat uncritical as to placement. 3rd: These are solid predictions, if they are predictions. However, flaws:

Lead Actor: Edgar Ramirez for Carlos, even though the movie's giant and obscure, is probably in Oscar's top 15, as opposed to Depp for Alice in Wonderland.

Lead Actress: Be interesting if Mulligan makes it again, but except for including Steinfeld (every critic is pushing Steinfeld as support), this 15 is mostly THE 15. Either Swank or, depending on the percentage of high-browdom in the Academy, Paprika Stein is in the 15.

Supporting Actor: Can't see Postlethwaite in their 15, even with the recent death and definitely can't see Kingsley in the 15. Brosnan and Armie Hammer (sounds like the baking soda pronounced in baby talk) probably fill those two slots.

Supporting Actress: Can't see Ellen Page, Rebecca Hall, HBC as the Red Queen or Ryder as being in their top 15. Jacki Weaver, Dale Dickey and the Nowhere Boy double are probably somwhere in there.

volvag -- i think Danny was sharing the BAFTA long list. albeit with no explanation :)

and P.S. Carlos is not eligible at the Oscars (shown as television miniseries) so Edgar Ramirez can't be nominated, even as a surprise longshot.

for volvagia: i posted BAFTA longlist ( thanks Nathaniel R for the explanation); so your prediction is NOTHING!!!

danny -- play nice. Unless "let's have us a knife fight" is the next comment in which case. Yay, for sticking with the post theme!
