Beauty Break: Rose, Uma, Michelle & Tilda
Thanks to reader Emmanuel for sending me this photo...
Rose Huntington-Whiteley, Uma Thurman, Michelle Yeoh and Tilda Swinton this week in Milan. What a photo, eh? This was taken at a launch party for the Vertu’s ‘Constellation’ smart phone. I thank the smart phone for requiring this much collective gorgeousity for its debut.
Though she's clearly the odd girl out here, what with three bonafide screen goddesses on the coach, I don't have the heart to photoshop Rose out (but, yes, I was tempted). She got such a severe beating for Transformers: Dark of the Moon and please... we've seen much worse when it comes to models acting! You know I'm right. People were just ready to pounce because she replaced Megan Fox and because it's Transformers which only requires that the girlfriend be fuckable.

Will Uma ever get another Oscar worthy role?
Dylan -- i'm guessing no but oscars aren't everything (blasphemy i know).
i ♥ her. totally miss her lately.
I never really noticed how gorgeous Uma really is. She aged really well.
Uma is aging *very* well, isn't she? And Tilda just seems so effortlessly, ghostly chic. I'd love to see those two team up on something.
I do wish i could see Uma more often. Its been a while since she's had a great role. Maybe someone can give her the idea to feed herself to Lars Von Trier?
and i always liked Tilda, but through the Fug Girls, my appreciation for her has skyrocketed and i'm just waiting for her to SWINTON the shit out of her next movie. I've just finished reading We Need To Talk About Kevin and if the movie is faithful to the book (and from what i've seen with clips, it definitely looks so) then we're in for a hell of a ride.
With Rosie, i haven't seen her on film since i flat out refused to watch Transformers (i've seen the first two and i have no idea why people care), but she is a great clothes hanger. Not alot of people could pull that dress off and still be taken seriously.
and it's good for Michelle Yeoh that they took that picture sitting down because those are three very tall ladies. I like Michelle Yeoh too, but i really haven't seen alot of her films. Pretty good Bond Girl, but nowhere near as good as that delightful freak of nature known as Xenia Onatopp. Famke Janssen! now THAT is a woman i need to see much more of!
