I´ve just seen this picture now!!Seeing that photo when the end credits of Chloe are still in my T.V. is a little creepy...Amazing! I Love Julianne and specially Seyfried in this one. And I love Egoyan (Sweet Hereafter and Exotica personal faves), but this movie could have been so much better with more sense of humour...
Deivith --- hmmm. wouldn't humor have turneed it a little camp... as it's a litlte purple in storytelling. I mean did Julianne really have to be a gynecologist? and so on.
i liked the performances but it was... odd.
Some things I really enjoyed about the film, like the production values which were practically bathed in slickness but in a good way. Julianne and Amanda were pretty good, but then things just went out the window (ha) and it turned just silly. Did anyone think that towards the very end of the film that Amanda was going to pull a Single White Female while looking at Julianne's clothes and shoes when she was doing you know what?
The film is a feast for the eyes until they (spoiler!) have sex. After that it gets so awkward. Plus the very awkward way Chloe acts like a little school girl some times which is so inappropriate imo and drives me crazy! One reason to stick with the very good original though I'm not saying I won't watch it again - I got the DVD!
You saw it!
I understand the problems some have with it but I just really liked the eerie, suspenseful, erotic, etherial atmosphere, the visuals, the house, the music... and Julianne Moore's complex performance. She is, as many reviewers stated after this movie, the closest to a French actress a Hollywood star can get.
