Bryan -- i hate that too. When you stop to think that (one of my friends told me this) the flop Judy Moody and the NOT bummer summer made more than Tree of Life. It is to weep.
Jorge -- ingenious. And given Meryl's place as a national treasure, it's even patriotic!
My favorite movie of the year so far is The Tree of Life or Harry Potter-can't decide, two MASSIVELY different movies.

Believe me, I hate the Spider-Man trailer too. If they were going to revive it, I would have expected them to go with something lighter, something...quippier. Instead we're getting an even darker reboot. The best scene of the first two movies I saw: The wrestling match. That was what got my hopes up that we could get an actual full Spider-Man adaptation, a decent mixture of quips and drama. Instead...once Uncle Ben dies, he's all serious, all the time. To go darker is redundant and stupid.
