Apologies & Open Thread

I'm sorry. A post on the oldest living Oscar nominees went up last night while I was sleeping that was in rough draft stage and written a month ago! Just a perfect byproduct of the terrible terrible no good week I'm having. Quick, someone distract us. Ooh, look at that bright shiny object over there!

While we wait for the Golden Globe Nomination announcement, what movie scene is playing through your head right now?

ha, I wondered about the erratic comments on the nominees. Looking forward to the complete post!

I'm still waiting to see these 5 so i can call it a year.

The Paperboy
Les Miserables
Anna Karenina
Django Unchained
Seven Psychopaths

2 haven't come out yet and the other 3 were limited release. I hate "limited release". That just means "you're not going to see this for a next couple of months. better hope a screener leaks online!"

But movie scenes? one from Amour stands out. I have no desire to ever see that movie again. Well made? of course. But once was enough.
