The last movie I saw was 21 Jump Street, and when it was over, I thought to myself that it was about a million times better than I expected.

the last movie i saw was The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest and when the power went out I thought Damn, It's almost the end of the movie and she's going up stairs in a ominous warehouse!
I had some pringles though, so it's all good.

The last movie I saw was 'Hugo' (al fin) and when I saw Asa Butterfield I thought, my God, he looks so much like a young Elijah Wood...

A lovely tribute to old Hollywood, but I think I still like 'The Artist' the best!

The last movie I saw was a trifecta of Michelle Pfeiffer movies––Frankie & Johnny, The Age of Innocence, and The Fabulous Baker Boys––and when ever she was in a scene I thought to myself, "Why the HELL does she not have an Oscar by now?!!!"

The last movie I saw was Another Earth, and when I noticed Brit Marling's Katniss-style braid, I said to my husband "Brit is a beautiful girl and should never wear makeup." Jennifer Lawrence, take note! Lose the heavy eyeliner, especially on the Red Carpet! Same could be said to Amanda Seyfried. Makes them look like they're from the very wrong side of the tracks and a different decade.

The last movie I saw was 'The Blind Side' (a first-time-viewing) and when it was over I thought to myself "Even although I was fully prepared to dismiss this film, I'm totally getting Sandra Bullock's Oscar buzz now...".

The last movie I saw in the spirit of the day was Shake Hands with the Devil about the Irish troubles and when it was over I thought James Cagney was great, same for Glynis Johns but if it was the 20's why did she have a 50's hairdo, that's the kind of stuff that infuriates me!

The last movie I saw was The Lady Eve and while watching it I thought to myself "many of the most well-written female characters are from screwball comedy which around 70 years ago. We rarely have interesting female characters today anymore."

@MrW: perhaps you could explain it to the rest of us? I certainly didn't understand why Bullock won the Oscar when I saw it a year ago.

Mike F -- YES. THAT. It just goes to show you how far good direction goes because that movie is really good despite an uneven screenplay and wildly uneven acting from the principles. But the direction is so good.

The last movie I saw was WANDERLUST and when...ever Jennifer Aniston appeared on screen I thought to myself "my God, how is she still milking her Rachel Green persona after 17 years?".

Not that I have anything against Rachel Green. I love FRIENDS. It's just that... She has one acting talent: looking like Rachel Green. That's all.

P.S. to Mr. Paul Rudd: Dude, you're SO insanely talented. I know you love David Wain and Judd Appatow but please: try to stretch those acting muscles a bit, ok? Example: Patton Oswalt.
