Best of the Decade (thus far?)

Curiously the movie that I have UNDOUBTEDLY watched the most this decade has been The Kids Are All Right. Back in 2010, I was hesitating on whether or not to put it in my top 10 that year...
-BVR

Even if The Social Network ends up not being the best of the decade, I can't imagine another one capturing the feel for this time better.
-Val

The Tree of Life aims so high and it connects more often than not. I admire that more than movies that have perfect, but lower, aim.

Your top ten???

Someone Needs To Get More Sleep...

Someone named Christian Bale (pictured on the set of Terrence Malick's Knight of Cups)

Hasn't he seen The Machinist?  Insomnia is dangerous!

he plays hide& seek and it's him who is seeker

Since seeing The Fighter, after a long wait, I'm warming to him. Christian's performance was breakthrough work, and for me, he elevates a beautiful ensemble. I won't take back my earlier criticisms — they're still accurate reads of those particular performances.

However, I am excited by the possibilities that lay ahead. I don't believe the stiffness will completely leave whenever he's unsure, but I won't have knifes sharpened, he's someone to be cuddled.

I can see those "Knight of Cups" & "Ex-Lawless" trailers already

"Directed by Terrence Malick
with Academy Award Winners: Christian Bale, Cate Blanchett, Natalie Portman + last but not least, it-boy Ryan, it-girl Rooney"

it's quite overwhelming, I can't breathe
