Happy (Belated) 50th to Tony Leung Chiu Wai

I can't believe I forgot yesterday. He's only one of the world's best movie stars. He celebrated without me with a tiny balloon and modest cake.

How do you say "I love you Tony!" in Cantonese and/or Mandarin?

The hottest 50 year old man I know of. Especially in Happy Together.

Is anyone really a big movie star in the world if they're not famous in America?

June 28, 2012 | Unregistered Commenter4rtful

4rtful -- um, yes. Ever heard of Bollywood?also: The Asian markets in particular definitely have massive stars that aren't famous here.

In Cantonese: Aww Oye Lay, Chiu Wai!
In Mandarin: Wo I Ni, Chao Wei!

I love this man

HAPPY BIRTHDAY =D

He looks adorable in that picture, which is surprisingly dissimilar from his almost gentlemanly-yet-manly image/persona. Birthdays rule!

Hmm, and I thought you said Happy Birthday to Tony Leung sort of like "Hmm, mmmm, oh, mmmm, yeah!" Snerk.

I would love it if he can get an Oscar nomination. Shouldn't he have several by now?

I cant believed he's turned 50 and an international star. I watched him for like 20 something years back in the days ( 80s)when he was a nobody staring in numerous hong kong tv series.

loved him like crazy in Lust Caution, ITMFL and Hero. i just saw Happy Together for the first time a few months ago, and I'm thinking that I should put a few more Wong Kar Wai/Tony Leung collaborations in my movie queue this summer.
