Dumbed Down Star Trek?

I'm no huge fan of the TREK universe but at least it was distinct. Abrams has made it a roller coaster ride. When it's over you take nothing with you but a spinning head and the memory of the whoosh.
-Erik

If the brand was dead before Abrams got to it, then I object to the desecration of the corpse.

First & Last. Who is He?

first and last puzzles.
here's the first and last images of the main character in a motion picture.

Can you guess the movie?
The answer is after the jump if he's too mysterious for you.

Yep, that's Tom Cruise's fourth stint as Ethan Hunt in Mission: Impossible -Ghost Protocol. Is it the best movie in that franchise? It's rare that the fourth times the charm but... maybe.

Mission Impossible: Ghost Protcol?

Yup, pretty sure that's Tom Cruise in Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol (the best action movie of the decade so far).

Only the best Mission Impossible movie.

Yup, they all guessed it.

Yeah-I'd know Tom Cruise anywhere, and considering the concensus, I'll also go with Ghost Protocol.

Totally thought this was Young Adam (that blue tinted scene where he is in bed with Tilda), haha. Glad everyone here is a better student of Tom Cruise than I am. :)

Mission Impossible IV. I just watched it yesterday and unlike any of the other Mission movies I actually liked it. Makes me wish Brad Bird answered the call for the new Star Wars movies

Ethan Hunt the fourth!

Steven -- are you saying you play hooky when Cruise is leading the class?

March 11, 2013 | Unregistered CommenterNathaniel R

@Nathaniel Not...intentionally...missing his movies seems to be a naturally occurring phenomenon for me (no T, no shade). I guess the last thing I saw him in was Tropic Thunder. MI4 is on my to-do list.
