My New Plaid Pants I've been curious about this Kiss of the Damned movie -- I used to try to see every vampire flick (the only kind of horror you could always find me at) but then there were too many of them and the fascination wore off -- but Jason reviews it for us.

On a scale of 1-∞ how much do you love her? Whatever your answer is it's one degree less than my love at least! I claimed her in 1995 after [safe]! (Also she has the world's best publicist maybe, right? Even when her movies are On Demand - The English Teacher - she commands attention in the media)

I would like to go on record as saying that I was thrilled to see Julia Stiles show up in "Silver Linings Playbook." I don't know why, but I have always been in her corner, especially after "The Business of Strangers."

But I don't think "The English Teacher" is only On Demand? imdb says it opens May 17 theatrically? (And this week at the Tribeca Film Festival.) It doesn't look good at all, though.

However, I'm looking forward to "What Maisie Knew" (opening May 3). Got strong reviews and a beautiful trailer. Moore has six movies opening this year. Having seen "Don Jon's Addiction" at the Berlinale, I can say Moore is wonderful in it.

Still, I hope that she will work with a real auteur again soon, like Todd Haynes or Paul Thomas Anderson. I feel like she isn't getting the kind of projects she deserves. There is no Oscar role in sight for her. She should get more of the roles that Cate Blanchett does these days ("Monuments Men" and the new Woody Allen one, for instance).

um, if she had the best publicist, wouldn't we be referring to her as Academy Award Winner Julianne Moore?

I recently read she has three movies opening on the same day next October: Carrie, Don Jon, and The Seventh Son.
