P.S. Very good news: Richard Linklater's Boyhood, which I reviewed at Sundance, will be hitting US screens proper on July 11th. Not too long to wait for this 12 years in the making movie.

What as great list!! I would love to see you have a hit me with your best shot for "I Am Cuba", which I hope you've seen. It may be the most beautifully shot film I've ever seen.

I loved Dina Merrill in The Player.

If you are talking about long, single shots, Time Code is the winner. Also, isn't the opening of Postcards from the Edge one long shot?

It's neither real nor dystopian (I think), but in my dreams I'd love to see a cinematic treatment of Charlize Theron's 'Young Adult' character's YA series, if only to relish in her delicious devilishness one more time.
