Lunch with... Matthew Goode

Three of last year's Oscar pictures hit Blu-Ray and DVD today (Wild, Interstellar, and The Imitation Game) so you can catch up if you missed any and let us know how their Oscar fates are sitting with you after the fact. To celebrate the DVD releases, and the fact that it's finally Spring temperature's let's picnic with Matthew Goode. Mmmmm Matthew.

And also mmmmsandwiches. He'll snatch yours if you're not looking...

Unlike tetchy Cumberbatch, we'd happily share.

To think you're a fan of Matthew Goode and you don't watch The Good(e) Wife!

He's so dreamy in The Good Wife with his suit and his legal wordiness.

Looks like the ladies are totally in agreement about Matthew Goode on TGW; way more chemistry between Finn and Alicia than between Alicia and Will! I've loved him in everything except that gawd awful rom-com w Amy Adams.

Don't you think he really wanted the sandwich and (Joan) Keira Knightley?
I do love Matthew Goode even if, "he's a bit of a cad".

Finn & Alicia have even more chemistry than Will & Alicia. But I think he will be leaving the show for more film work soon.

^^I first read this as being in a sandwich with Cumberbatch and Knightley...

He is so wonderful <3 ...nd so underused in The Good Wife :/

he was terrifically dashing in the Downton Christmas special too. The show desperately needs a shot of saucy dash - I hope Dame Maggie is instantly disapproving of his character and they spend the season making fantastically barbed comments about each other while Hugh Bonneville tuts and sighs and wonders what's to be done...

I agree he is so good on The Good Wife. He is one of those actors who has great chemistry with all of his costars.

I came late to The Good Wife and watched the first four seasons in a matter of days. I had definitely underestimated it. I love the fact that Alicia is not goody two shoes and can be morally ambiguous. But I never cared for Alicia/Will storyline. As the time went on, it really bogged down the show.

@dela: Welcome to The Good Wife club, we can find you a desk, and after work you get a glass of Alicia's Merlot. Best cast, best guest stars, and smartest writing around.
