Same, Greta

I love him.

Should Greta eventually win an Oscar in the future, 'twould only be fair to cut to Guillermo, cluthching his heart and professing his earnest reciprocated love for Greta. Guillermo was the night's biggest winner, but Greta's affection may have been the biggest prize of all.

I enjoyed her night-long enthusiastic response to other people winning; always nice to see.

The one thing I love about Guillermo is that he's a true lover of films as he's been telling the people to see Get Out and Lady Bird as I'm sure he's telling Jordan and Greta about what to do next. Plus, I love the fact that Guillermo double-checked the envelope.

Pure class, all the way.

MDA, I agree. Greta was GENUIINELY happy to see other people winning.

Greta seems to be a genuinely big-hearted person. It really shows in her "Lady Bird" script.

I LOVE Greta and I LOVE Guillermo and I get it but was disappointed that he walked right past her when he won Best Director while she tapped him in the back. :(

The best director was Paul Thomas Anderson.

What a great moment captured. Bravo to the ones in the control room for giving us that.

AlexD - I liked Gary Oldman a little bit more after he shook Greta's hand after he won.

Greta certainly did prove herself to be the class of the nominees this year. She was genuinely happy to be there.

Lady Bird will still be watched 40 years from now and will age better than Shape of Water and Three Billboards.

No Peggy Sue the most over rated director is Paul Thomas Anderson-

You are nervously sitting there while you wait for your name to be read out ...or not.....and the last thing on your mind when you walk up to the stage is remembering to thank everyone that stands up to congratulate you. I am sure Greta won't be upset that Del Toro "snubbed' her. Greta is NOT donald trump.

Jaragon--ITA

Could Greta be more loveable? I'm heartbroken Lady Bird went 0 for 5. But its classic status is already cemented.
