Nat: Jake Gyllenhaal as Mysterio? Hmm. Odd choice. But I'm currently guessing the approach is going to be an episodic series of team ups structured around a world tour. Y'know, something like: Every half hour or so tells a basically contained story in a different city with a different co-hero, without the budget and character limits placed on the TV division.
Volvagia -- why would it be structured like a world tour? isn't he still in high school?
And wasn't he [SPOILER ALERT] blinked out of existence by Thanos? Why are we even talking about an upcoming movie starring a character who's already dead?
Oh that's right, we aren't even pretending the consequences of Infinity War are going to last beyond the sequel, anymore...
Robert - LOL. so true. That lasted a week but even that week was so very silly. I couldn't believe people took it seriously.
Jake Gyllenhaal as Mysterio? FUCK YEAH! I hope it's more Nightcrawler Gyllenhaal in that film as he kicked ass in that movie.
Nat: Summer Vacation...?
Sarah Paulson interviews are always a delight to watch. She’s so articulate, smart and funny. I’m envious of her charm.
Yeah, but her Turner is a disaster.
Steve Kazee has the worst luck. He's one of those "he should be a bigger star" cases you were discussing in another post.
Philip Roth was just a magnificent writer -- it's a shame his books have never gotten adaptations that are anywhere near as good. Since they're prestige fiction, I think the directors usually opt for something too staid and formal, whereas imo the spirit of the books is something more like films where everything is falling apart by the end -- some combo of "Goodfellas" and "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf"!

WALL.E?
Arkaan - touché!
So are you saying they should only cast ugly actors in roles with masks? The Mysterio costume is kinda integral to his whole “mysterious magician” thing. But I understand your chagrin Nathaniel haha.
Rooms Of Doom – Minion Madness tri apk is the perfect mixture of swimming, flying, jumping and running.
Pajiba had a great article about PhoebeWaller-Bridge.
@Peggy Sue - what's gone wrong for him? Granted, I haven't seen anything about him since he won his Tony, but I'd love to hear more about his career.
I love Andy Karl! He totally deserves crossover success. Handsome, great comic timing, good voice, great dancer.
