More after the jump including "favorite thing about the 90s", a great Roseanne replacement suggestion, and the beginning of the gayest month of the year...
Cate Blanchett has never said the words yes and no. She says “Very well” and “Of course not.”

Glad that we all agree that Millenials are un-bound by time & space and exist as radiant eternal beings who shall burn far longer than the stars.

Pride month is exciting because everything that mildly inconveniences me is certified homophobic.

Thank you IndieWire for the news flash that queer love stories have been done to death. pic.twitter.com/BJhr3M70bN

In honor of #PrideMonth I am refusing to have sex with my girlfriend for the whole month. I won't subject my gay peers to the idea of two straight people engaging in sexual intercourse on their holy month. #Ally

That last tweet is good meme but it also reminded me that Steve Buscemi was wonderful in one of the earliest new queer cinema movies -- Parting Glances (1986).

It's funny you mentioned the movie, because as soon as I saw that picture of Steve Buscemi, I thought of "Parting Glances". That was one of the first gay movies I saw beyond "Longtime Companion", and I still remember how good it was.
IndieWire has been trash for awhile. What happened to it?
Mark Kanemura is amazing.
Oh my god, I have such a soft spot for Season 3 of BUFFY! My friends are 5-7 youngers than me and were binge watching, and I had to educate them about the struggle of seeing the "Executive Producer Joss Whedon" black screen of doom at the end of every episode and having to wait an entire WEEK for the next one, not 45 seconds until your Hulu reloads. It's also when I stopped watching, because that season finale was delayed two months because of Columbine and they aired it in the summer and I never got caught up. My brother's favorite was Faith, anyway.
Mariah is selling that print as tees and hoodies on her website! Your fave could never. "Rainbow" (1999) was two years before the "Glitter" breakdown (and the year she was diagnosed with bipolar disorder). Despite the cover and the mostly upbeat singles, there's some real melancholy on there. "Petals", probably her most instantly confessional work, is about her marriage and divorce from Tommy Motolla ("I gravitated to a patriarch predictably") and saying goodbye to the drug-addicted sister who tried selling her out. IT IS SO SAD AND BEAUTIFUL and then segues into an interude before Thank God I Found You, and it's an excellent showing in the lost art of song order in an album telling a story.
Damn, Mark Kanemura has some nice legs for a dude. I'd do him.
@Ryan T - David Ehrlich and all the hyperbolic clickbaiting associated with him
Lando and Solo have zero chemistry - but Solo and Chewbacca now that's another furry story
