7 Things Viggo Mortensen Should Be Chewing On That Aren't His Shirt
Have you seen the new cover of NY Time's Style Magazine starring "grungy antihero" Viggo Mortensen? Viggo is one of my all time favorite actors as I was just recently saying to David Cronenberg so I'm always happy to see him but this photo -- I seriously thought it was an old magazine cover from when he was like 25 until I remembered that he wasn't famous till he was like 37.
Seven Things Viggo Mortensen Should Be Chewing On That Aren't His Shirt
- More roles as good as Sigmund Freud in A Dangerous Method
- The ear of the person who photoshopped this. Viggo makes 50something hot so don't take that away from the 50somethings of the world!
- The scenery in more prestige movies; get that Oscar role, wherever it is.
- Diane Lane's everything in a screen reunion. They were so nsfw hot together.
- His own decisions about who he'll vote for as Actor and Actress on his own Oscar ballot... I mean who to vote for besides Fassy & Keira.
- His paintbrushes. Paintbrushes should always have teethmarks in them. Have you seen his art?
- Maria Bello's vajayjay in A History of Violence. Time to watch the cheerleader scene again!
Every photo in the magazine is more Viggo-like than the cover. Love these two.

LOL he looks about 18 on the cover
OMG, I had no idea he was in his 50s! He has aged well, I always thought he was much younger in A Perfect Murder--I know people hate that movie, but I loved it.
You're not alone, Bia; I love A Perfect Murder, too. (Gwynnie looked so scrumdiddly with the bob, and '98 was Hitchcock gone wild.)
I'm gonna be honest-I wouldn't have picked him out without a caption on the cover of that magazine. That had better be an old photo, otherwise this is one of the most extreme cases of photoshop I've ever seen.
I want to be on his diet. I want to stay young looking too, and I'm only 29!
I've got a few more things he should be chewing on. Just sayin'.
oh, he is so beautiful. I just recently saw "A history of violence" again, it's such a good movie. Both he and Maria Bello really would have deserved awards for their performances.
let's be honest that photo has some serious retouching....not that viggo is not hot he is...but no way is that his skin....look at the leather bag on the other pages...
Haha, always in red and blue!
I'm with Thombeau. Heller's article is excellent--she really captures the essence of Viggo. I have loved him madly since randomly renting A Walk On The Moon soon after it was available. He is the quintessential Renaissance Man--so eloquent, wonderfully intense, and a keen observer of life. Everyone who knows him or works with him loves him. He is uber hot!
