The Secret Marriage: Daniel & Rachel
Congratulations to the newlyweds, Rachel Weisz and Daniel Craig! You may have heard that they pulled off the impossible feat of keeping a double-star wedding under wraps until entire days after the nuptials. They were married on Wednesday June 22nd.
Secret weddings are the best. Without the prying paparazzi lenses we are free to imagine the whole thing. So this is what The Film Experience officially believes they were wearing when they tied the knot.
WHY NOT?
The couple may prove ubiquitous for the remainder of the year. Consider...
JULY & AUGUST
In Rachel's next film --which seems like it's been "about to open" for years though now -- she plays The Whistleblower and some Best Actress whispers have emerged. Daniel Craig's next, Cowboys & Aliens, arrives first in July but is not garnering any Best Actor whispers for either alien of cowboy life forms.
SEPTEMBER
The newlyweds started dating after working together (as fictional spouses) in Dream House from Jim Sheridan (In America). Naomi Watts and Martin Csokas co-star in a thriller about a seemingly idyllic house with a nightmarish history.
DECEMBER
The year will end with a possible Oscar campaign for Weisz (though she's already a winner from The Constant Gardener) and a possible blockbuster for Craig by way of David Fincher's adaptation of The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo. May he have more luck with the (comparatively) dull "Mikael Blomkvist" part than Michael Nyqvist had.

Discarded title for the post- "It's official: Darren Aronofsky won't direct a Bond film any time soon".
My heart is broken.
Isn't he gay? Not George Clooney gay. I mean evidence that he's down for us gay boys.
Yonatan just totally cracked me up. Cute couple.
He's not gay. He's British.
Hot couple. Love her.
Wow, that was a short courtship, wasn't it? She was engaged to Aronofsky for years and here she is with Craig six months (?) later. Congratulations to one sexy British couple.
They were so under the radar, I hardly paid attention to them. After googling pictures of them together (that is, like the grand total of five) I've decided that they are my new favorite celeb couple. So good-looking in such different ways, but they totally mesh well.
Craig ia fine actor, but I hate his James Bond.
I used to hate Rachel Weisz but then she rocked my world in The Constant Gardener and My Blueberry Nights. Her career is still mediocre, but sometimes she delivers amazing performances.
Mazel tov!
It's weird with The Whistleblower. It actually opened here in Denmark on Thursday. And according to IMDb we are the first country to get it outside of the festival run! It doesn't play near me so I won't get to see it though but it has received som fine reviews. Not truly great and "one-of-the-best-of-the-year" reviews, but overall some polite reviews that indicates a very solid film.
I don't know why, I'm still mourning the break-up b/w Aranofsky and Weisz. It doesn't make me feel better that Weisz remarried. I do like Craig a lot, though
Are we gonna get a swim trunk shot in Girl With The Dragon Tattoo? I haven’t finished reading it, and it looks it’s all set in winter.
Sometimes it drives me crazy thinking about these perfect Hollywood couples. Brangelina, Bardem and Cruz, now Craig-Weisz. But it seems like it’s the older ones make headlines with their relationships. Where are the teenagers?I used to be so obsessed about Mulligan and LaBeouf. I almost died when I saw that news about DiCaprio with Lively. I mean died from so much disappointment.

I agree with Lara, that was really fast, especially compared to the long engagement with Aronofsky. I like that they kept it so low-key. Hope they will be happy.
Rachel's a lucky ass girl. Gawww.
