Dumbed Down Star Trek?
❝I'm no huge fan of the TREK universe but at least it was distinct. Abrams has made it a roller coaster ride. When it's over you take nothing with you but a spinning head and the memory of the whoosh.❞
-Erik
❝If the brand was dead before Abrams got to it, then I object to the desecration of the corpse.❞

I want to say Bus Stop
Only because of the guitar, I'll say Bound For Glory.
Bus Stop
That looks like Bus Stop to me. Isn't that Arthur O'Connell standing there?
I think that's Don Murray
Jeez I was hoping for Showgirls.
4rtful ---well the Showgirl is IN the Bus
bus stop
Totally Bus Stop. I played Bo in High School and watched the film a good three times after the performance to see the differences in our performance. Good film. Monroe is killer in this.
yep, Bus Stop. Marilyn was so very, very good in this, and Murray was so very, very annoying, and yet HE got the nomination.
I am in awe of you guys. I never know the answers to these.
OTT: In this new "interview" number, Joaquin Phoenix made a serious statement for his Oscar campaign... The full interview is here: http://www.interviewmagazine.com/film/joaquin-phoenix#_
(Interviewer) MITCHELL: So what are you going to do when they put you on the awards circuit for The Master?
PHOENIX: You’re out of your mind, dude. You’re out of touch with what has happened.
MITCHELL: I think we’ve established that you’re the one who’s out of his mind. [Phoenix laughs] You don’t think that’s going to happen?
PHOENIX: I’m just saying that I think it’s bullsht. I think it’s total, utter bullsht, and I don’t want to be a part of it. I don’t believe in it. It’s a carrot, but it’s the worst-tasting carrot I’ve ever tasted in my whole life. I don’t want this carrot. It’s totally subjective. Pitting people against each other … It’s the stupidest thing in the whole world. It was one of the most uncomfortable periods of my life when Walk the Line was going through all the awards stuff and all that. I never want to have that experience again. I don’t know how to explain it—and it’s not like I’m in this place where I think I’m just above it—but I just don’t ever want to get comfortable with that part of things.
If that's true -And with the poor BO of "The Master"-, maybe it means excellent news for Bradley Cooper... First. Bill Murray and now Joaquin Phoenix
