Cronenberg. Cosmopolis. Can't Wait.
Since I neglected to share the Cosmopolis teaser when it first hit the net and we'll wait for the full trailer for our Yes No Maybe So treatment (obviously I'm an orgasmic yes... Cronenberg. Duh) so I thought I'd share my 9 favorite images from the teaser in sort of chronological order...though I lost track of them as they exploded orgasmically over my terrified/turned on eyeballs.
If anyone can make a Don DeLillo novel which takes place solely in the back of a car cinematic, isn't it David Cronenberg?
Robert Pattinson is painfully attractive ... which is painful to admit. Damn you, RPattz!
7 more increasingly freaky shots after the jump...
My single favorite image could I only choose one.
Sex + horny actresses + cars. That was a thrilling perverse combo in Cronenberg's Crash.
SAMANTHA MORTON!
I was so excited to see her I've lost control of my bladder. What? She doesn't work enough and she's a thrilling actress.
Giant rats... aaaahhhhiyyyikes. this movie is going to be such a mindfuck. You know what Don DeLillo novella really freaked me out that I just love? The Body Artist. I highly recommend. Have any of you read it?
Books are sexy.
Eek!
For the three of you who haven't yet seen it...

Can't wait!
Robert Pattinson is painfully attractive ...
Not really. But I must be getting old.
This looks absolutely ridiculous to be honest, Rpatz looks greasy.
That unflinching shot through the hand though - a mind-boggling classic!!!!
Cant wait for this!!!
Reasons to live! Cronenberg is always AT LEAST fascinating, and this looks like it could be pretty great.
He's not greasy...he's sweaty. You get that way sometimes...when you're having sex.
Alejandro: This is COSMOPOLIS. That's THE WHOLE POINT. Now, I sort of wish we were in an alternate universe where Stephen Daldry tackled Falling Man (also DeLillo) instead of ELAIC, but it's no use crying over spilt milk... and a director's fading career.
I'm so excited for this, I'm even willing to do a little self-pimping:

PS: I love the new banner theme :-)
Let it be known that Juliette Binoche is probably the woman in the car combo and strangely enough, I've never had more respect for her than I do now.
I'm also assuming that the blonde acterss is homegirl Sarah gadon, who also worked with Cronenberg last year for Method. Either way, I can't wait for this.
Kind of like the fact I've never gotten RP's physical appeal.
Some of the fan twitter response is absolutely hilarious. His older fans are looking forward to seeing him in more daring roles - others clearly have never come across Cronenberg before and are completely horrified. I know I shouldnt laugh, but Its so funny!
I saw Robert Pattinson in person once. He looks like Quasimodo. Just sayin.
