Beauty Break: Tom Hiddleston

Splish splash Loki taking a bath...
Tom Hiddleston called this shoot for 1883 magazine his favorite photoshoot ever on Twitter just yesterday. Haven't seen the final product but he does look like he's having fun, splashing about, jumping around, posing and even dancing in this behind the scenes video.

No Hiddleston fans out there? I guess you haven't seen THE AVENGERS yet ;)
You can't jump off Fassbender for this guy!
HAHA, yeah, maybe he hasn't quite yet broken into the public consciousness? I already reposted this. Except not gonna lie- if it's between Fassbender or Hiddleston- Fassbender will always win.
THANKS FOR THS POSTING NATHANIEL!!!
GIVE ME MORE HIDDLESTONE PLEASE!!
Fassbender over Hiddlestone? No way!! Let Tom to have more roles.
I haven't seen the Avengers - and have no plans to - but fell kind of hard for him in that little bit he's in War Horse (the final close-up on his character's face is, for me, the best part of the film.) My friend kendra loved him in Archepelago (2010) but I haven't seen that one yet.
Janice -- that's my favorite moment in War Horse, too!
Everyone -- interesting that Fassbender comes up. They do have a somewhat similar appeal. I think there's room for both.
Fassbender will always come uo when you write the word 'beauty' on your blog Nathaniel.
Am I the only one who believes Hiddleston looks very similar as Leslie Howard?
Lou -- no, i see that now that you say it.
I still sort of fell head over heels over his Loki in "Thor." I just love how his antagonistic ways were developed so organically. We understand his motivations. It's rare for villains, let along comic book ones, in films to have this. I can't wait to see him in "The Avengers."
And then of course he was perfect in his bit role in "Midnight in Paris." I need to see more of him. Perhaps he's just the nudge I need to see "War Horse."
I've seen The Avengers, and what bothered me the most about this "film" was that the comparatively complex Loki from Thor was flattened into the standard power-seeking Hollywood psychopath. Joss must have mistaken Loki for Michael Bay. In any case, Whedon seemed to get a lot of inspiration from Bay.
Nevertheless, Hiddleston grandstanding was fun to watch. But how much more fun could it have been if they hadn't abandoned the more complicated character from the previous film?
I absolutely adore him!
Whilst I sorta agree with Willy said, I think that Hiddleston manages to bring it back from the edge of bog-standard psychovillain.
Have any of you seen him and Michelle Dockery in the short film for TIME style and design? It is really worth a look.
Yes, but to which point? When the puny god met the ugly gorilla, I had to think of the Batman TV series. Be that as it may, Hiddleston did the best he could. Not even Whedon managed to bring him down.
I like Hiddleston, but I'm on Team Cumberbatch!
I like Tom Hiddleston a lot, although I'm not sure why apart from the obvious reasons (ahem). And, after Lou's comment - which I totally agree with - about him looking like Leslie Howard I really can't figure out why. Leslie Howard has never resonated as more than a passive presence to me, and I would say the same thing about Hiddleston in the movies I've seen him in. I saw "Deep Blue Sea," and while he did petulant and somewhat shallow very well, Rachel Weisz blew him off the screen.
Checking on IMDB, I see that he's doing Henry IV, Parts One and Two, and Henry V for English television this year. I hope they're broadcast in the US. Conveying a convincing transformation from Prince Hal to King Henry will go a long way towards showing a range beyond what he's been able to convey in the supporting roles he's had to date. And also, he has a great voice. If nothing else, I'd enjoy listening to him saying those lines.
I love him. I began to sort of follow his career after seeing him in Thor and immediately began to look into other roles that he has done. He was incredible in War Horse as well. In my opinion, he is better looking than Michael Fassbender, but both men are very attractive and talented. They also both play an excellent villain in their respective films.
I just recently fell in love with Tom Hiddleston and I absolutely ADORE this video. I'm studying photography right now and this makes me want to have a shoot with him right now. But what camera is she using? Is she really using a point-and-shoot? Tom, darling, come to me and I will give you a fabulous photo shoot with a real camera. LOL! just kidding. but really, come to me, darling.
