oops didn't realize i hadn't included it at tail end of post. fixed.
I can't think of a better Sunday treat than a podcast! I confess I also listened a couple of the old ones and the 1986 retrospective. It's nice to look back from time to time.
The Film Experience Podcast Part 2: The Desolation of Swank.
Will -- you can title the next podcast. that is awesome :)
Peggy Sue, your comment made me laugh because I relistened to the 1986 podcast this past week, too. Also, during my summer trips, I relistened to old Oscar podcasts just because I love listening to this gang so much (plus it's hilarious to hear jokes about the directing nominees two years on). Seriously, I wish the film experience one was more regular -- no condescending bullshit, no assholes, just a fun group talking movies.
Thanks, everyone, for such kind responses to these!
The way Nathaniel feels about The Great Gatsby is the way I feel about The Hobbit. Favorite book of all time (or one of them), do NOT need a movie of it (much less THREE. DEAR GOD, STOP IT, PETER JACKSON!!!).
Thanks again to you guys for this wonderful podcast; so much fun to hear the three of you together!
