Thranduil, Elven King
Lee Pace makes me weak in the knees.
You should start placing titles about these random images threads. They're not searchable if the conversations ever become interesting.
My favorite actor and one of my favorite films.
The Fall!!!
Lee Pace was INCREDIBLE as the Elven King, Thranduil!
"...Happy to see Lee Pace in a good role for once"
"YES I know, I was so happy to see him!"
I see you're mentioned on his Wiki page:
"However, Pace not included among the Lincoln ensemble nominated and several bloggers were annoyed by this, including Katey Rich of Cinemablend.com and Nathaniel Rogers of The Film Experience"
Hot and talented and underrated.
McKellen outed him yesterday!
I love the scene where Lee Pace and Amy Adams sing together in "Miss Pettigrew".
I like to mentally recast films with Lee Pace, such as Lee Pace instead of Matt Damon in The Monuments Men. I'd be first in line to see that.
i also love him. want him to be in way more movies. if someone edits together his scenes in The Hobbit for me so i don't have to sit through all 9 hours i will be greatly appreciative
Nathaniel, The Hobbit (both parts 1 and 2, and 3 when it arrives) are meant to be seen in a movie theatre, not on HBO in tiny sporadic fragments.
You're hating on a film you haven't even given a chance. I'm speechless.
A: Hey man, have you seen that film?
B: Naaah... not me man, it's stupid, I'm not watching that!
A: But why do you think it's stupid? You haven't seen it!
B: Doesn't matter, I'm not watching it.
I like Pace in most things he does, but Miss Pettigrew is one of my favorites not just for him, but all the actors.
he was great in "Ceremony"
Nathaniel, the second one is actually pretty enjoyable with noticeably more highlights, and the actors are great fun in it—Martin Freeman, Evangeline Lilly, Benedict Cucumber Smaug, Stephen Fry, Orlando Bloom, Luke Evans, and Lee Fucking Pace as the the bitchiest king ever. And an inordinate number of really, really good-looking dudes. fdskfsfd.
The fans are pretty obsessed with Thranduil, though, so I'm sure there will be a compilation on YouTube in no time, if there aren't already. I'm pretty sure one of his key scenes was posted a while ago, and he only really has a couple in the second. But the behind-the-scene footage of him is just as good. (This was cultivated from childhood, but I love watching the making of any LOTR movies as much as i love the movies themselves--they're so interesting and everyone always looks like they're having SO much fun.)
