TWO OPINIONS ON MAPS TO THE STARS
Nathaniel's Julianne Spazzing & Glenn's Cronenberg Finger Wagging

"There is a great movie in Maps of the Stars and that is the one Moore stars in, not the one the screenplay insists in bringing to the front." - Mr Goodbar

"If I had to guess why Cronenberg went with a largely "invisible" or even non-style style, I'd say it has to do with his approach to the narrative, which is kind of a bait and switch, setting us up for a hollywood satire and then giving us a final act that plays more like a myth or a fairy tale." -Roark

Who is your GODDESS? Cristal or Nomi?

Curio: Rob, Always and Forever

Alexa here. Before the Oscar ceremony this year I flashed back to Rob Lowe's low of 1989, dancing with Snow White, and I wished the ceremony would still include that tastelessness of yore.  Alas, while times have changed since then, and a different form of tackiness prevails, Rob has remained as doable, er, durable as ever. I wanted to join Nathaniel in celebrating his half century on this planet with some fan curios, vintage and handmade, that showcase his early years, especially my favorite teen dream film, The Outsiders.

On to the raging hormones...

Preteen hormone embroidery by Lucky Jackson.

The 19-year-old in me wants this autographed cast photo.Alternative poster available here.

Vintage pinups available here.

I will take any opportunity to post this photo.

I think I've seen more posts of this guy than Peter O'Toole on this site.
