Wait, I have not realized this until this post that Amy Adams was not at the Oscars? Is this the first year since her first nomination year that she missed it? I suspect this is not the first time she missed it but somehow it feels like so. It feels like she is the essential guest at the Oscars every year because her movies usually got nominated even if she was not, but at least she has every reason to be there. What's Jennifer Lopez's excuse to be there year after year?
I really like that adventurous print on Haille Steinfeld and I couldn't help but imagine a reunion with her Begin Again cast. Keira, Mark, Adam, and James Corden are inside dancing. Adam Levine admits Keira's version is better, and Haille plans a shopping trip with Keira.
Cumberbatch has seen both Dynasty and read a Jackie Collins book and has agreed to be the inspiration for a character in an upcoming novel.
Amy Adams shows up at the Vanity Fair party the way you and I go to the office Christmas party.

Hailee Steinfeld must be the most perfect teen fashionista ever. She was flawless that True Grit year and keeps being awesome red carpet material. She is almost like a teen Lupita.

Mike in Canada, is that a cut? Emma Stone has KILLED IT all Oscar season long. Her after party dress, while not my favorite of the night, looks better live than in stills.
Were any of these people at the actual Oscars? Seems like the camera rarely panned to attendees this year, even the front row. Poor camera work there.
