Oh, truly one of the most underrated films of the 2000s. A musical that is just so fun to watch that allows all 8 women to sing and have their moment. Ludivine Sagnier's piece is my favorite of the 8.

Such a great movie! One of my favorite moment is when we see a picture of Emmanuelle Béart's beloved previous mistress, and it's the great Romy Schneider.

I know I'm supposed to say The Piano Teacher, but this is legit my favourite Isabelle Huppert performance.

Love, love, love this movie! I'm (happily) surprised that there hasn't been a terrible English-language remake...yet.

J'adore! I have watched this so many times, and it's always entertaining.

Also, how versatile is François Ozon? Each movie a surprise.

What about an Huppert mini-retrospective if she finally gets nominated? Despite her Internet fandom, I don't think many people have seen her early work. I've never seen La dentellière.
