I mean, couldn't you just *die*???
Only if it's almond milk, but YES for the retrospective!
But can we leave her Catwoman out of it this time? That performance has been discussed to death here at TFE...
I'd definitely be intrigued in hearing about her under-discussed performances, but I don't think you can exclude Catwoman.
I don't want to steal anything from Nick Davis, but his essay on her work in Frankie and Johnny, and of her power in general, is *beyond* perfection. I also love what she did in One Fine Day, which holds a soft spot in my heart for being the first film that introduced me to La Pfeiffer. Seriously though, what is her best performance? It changes for so many people, and she's so uncannily inspired by unusual material....
Paul & Arkaan -- i'll be covering everything is the plan. we'll see how it goes.
Amanda, IMO, White Oleander and A Thousand Acres are easily her best performances and they are not discussed or praised nearly enough.
*Fight me*
No one is p'fighting when discussing Pfeiffer. She'll be symbolic of 2017 hope and optimism.
Oh. My. God. Nathaniel, I LOVE YOU.
Cannot wait for Michelle retrospective. Cannot wait for her comeback.
So excited for this and what will hopefully be a pfantastic year for Pfeiffer.
Please Please review A Thousand Acres.
Oh, my...
I already love 2017.
Please, Pfeiffer everyday!!!
NO! There is never enough Catwoman. I owe my sexual awakening to the three women of the 90s Batmans - Michelle, Nicole and Uma. Haha!
Can't wait for her performances next year! Particularly in Where is Kyra? and Mother.
oh good goddammit, i'm not ready. YAAAAAAS.
I don't know what we did to deserve this, but thank you, thank you, thank you.
Can't wait to revisit "The Story of Us" and for more people to check out "I Could Never Be Your Woman" and "People Like Us."
Time to make my Pfeiffer mixtape!
Pretty sure that combo would've turned me gay if I hadn't been born that way.
