Wouldst Thou Link Deliciously?

The Film Doctor reviews Owen Glieberman's book "Movie Freak: My Life Watching Movies"
Flick Chicks loving on pets in the movies. Awww

Black Phillip from The Witch has his own Twitter account. He boasts a lot and has real species pride
• Vanity Fair Amy Adams going to television. She'll star in a series version of Gillian Flynn's Sharp Objects (which is extremely actress-friendly as we've previously noted)

• Cinematic Corner chooses 15 best shots of the year: Crimson Peak, Youth, and more...

Variety Carol named best film of the year by International Cinephile Society

News That Requires Not Linkage
Batman v Superman is going to be 151 minutes long. Uff.

Potentially Awesome TV News
We've long hoped that a TV Variety show could air which would really work - it's such a fun abandoned form but too many recent attempts have been shoddy (that Rosie O'Donnell attempt) or so manic they're unwatchable (Neil Patrick Harris's). The Tracking Board says that we could get another attempt as early as this year starring Maya Rudolph (Great choice: She's funny, can act, also rocks) and Martin Short.

How they brought Colossus to life in Deadpool... five different actors and a whole team of visual fx artist

Thanks for the link! For those interested in the current state of movie reviewing, Owen Gleiberman's new book is very readable.

Thanks so much for the link! I LOOOOVE that Black Philip twitter account. Super psyched for Sharp Objects. They should get Pfeiffer to play the mother!

Kate Winslet would be very wise now to approach the theatre, did wonders for the other Cate, she's having a hot yr and this would make sense.

If you have not gone back to the piece on To Kill a Mockingbird… I just read it and left a message for you… Hope you see it.

I hadn't heard about Glieberman's book but the review just convinced me to pre-order it.

thanks for the links to Joe Reid and Tim Brayton's articles. So entertaining. I love Tim's review of 45 years and what he says about how the acting excels. Great stuff.

Thanks for the video about Colossus. My friends and I just saw it this weekend and were wondering how that was done.

Thanks for the link!

I'm excited about the prospect of having Amy Adams on television in such an actress-friendly role, but I hope it doesn't prevent her from doing films as well.
