Uber Glamour!!
Always loved this picture! They all look absolutely capital A Amazing but I think the color coordination of Catherine Denuevue's ensemble is my fav. I forget if it was a Royal Command Performance or not but I know they were being presented to the Queen.
Three elegant goddesses, all still just in their twenties. And this was the night Beatty first laid eyes on Miss Christie. Who can blame him, her profile is a Cocteau drawing.
This picture is EVERYTHING.
There are no words.
Initially thought I was looking at a movie still and assumed the woman in red was Kidman.
I used to have a shirt in the exact same pattern as Christie's dress. I kid you not.
This photo is the perfect antidote to all that Working Girl imagery, thanks.
Now that is truly glamourous
Catherine Deneuve must be the most beautiful and classy actress of all time.
This also the night that Warren Beatty first saw and then became obsessed with Julie Christie. No one blames him.
OMG
I wasn't ready for that !
Three glamorous stars
SUBLIME
Julie Christie was the perfect 60s girl imo with Darling and her cute swinger attitude. You should see her presenting best actor for Paul Scofield; she looks like she can go straight up to the disco!
The 60's: When women wore gloves unironically.
I love the photo, but it's almost too much pretty. I want to throw someone more idiosyncratic into the picture with them.
Holy shit. That is too much hotness to handle.
